WWI remembered

The Royal British Legion Antrim will be the venue for an evening of remembrance and music on Saturday, November 29, from 7.30pm - doors open 7pm.

Artists and musicians will include Kellswater Flute Band with a tribute to popular First World War military march composers, Alford and Turpin; Scott Barr, Field Marshal Montgomery under 18 all Ireland solo piper; Johnny Jamison and the Boys of the Old Brigade war poets, and local Ulster Scots folk group Blazin Bellows.

Compere for the evening will be local historian David Gourley. Tickets priced £5, are on sale at Ballymena Services Club, Irons Bakery Harryville, RBL Antrim and Sporting Occasions Antrim.
