Randalstown Cultural Awareness Association are set to host a number of workshops over the coming year on the theme 400 Years.
The group launched their 400 Years project on Thursday night at South Antrim Community Network in Randalstown.
The project will take a step back in time looking at Irish history and a variety of historical events from 1613 to the present day.
Some of the participants in the project are made up from members of the youth forum, Randalstown Sons of Ulster Flute Band and the local community.
A spokesperson for RCAA said: “We would encourage everyone to attend and learn a little bit of history for a better understanding of what has brought us to where we are today.”
The project has been funded by the Big Lottery and facilitated by Martin Snodden of Northern Spring.
The next events in the 400 Years project will take place on Thursday, March 6, and March 20, both at 7pm in the SACN offices.
