United under-11s clinch NIBFA Plate
Ballymena United under-11s enjoyed a memorable May Day as they won the Northern Ireland Boys' FA Plate competition in their age group.
The Showgrounds youngsters overcame north west side Tristar by three goals to two in the final this morning.
Two goals from Mark McClean and a long-range effort from man-of-the-match William Francey ensured that United secured the trophy.
