THE Under 13s led the way for Carniny Youth FC this weekend when they progressed into the second round of the Northern Ireland Boys FA Cup with a comfortable away win at Abbey Villa Youth.

The Under 14s lost out to a single goal against Warrenpoint, with the 15s losing to Trojans in a Friday night fixture.

The Under 10s played their final fixture before the North West Youth League winter break whilst the Under 11s warming up for competitive action next week with a friendly win against St Patrick’s at Mallusk.

This week, there will be no action for the Under 9s and 10s with the North West and Coleraine District Youth league commencing their winter break. The Under 11s and 12s will most likely be eager to get back to playing again with transfer tests over for most players.
