Craig bangs the drum for Norn Iron - in London

He might not have been at Windsor Park but one Ballymena man was banging the drum - quite literally - for Northern Ireland elsewhere last night.

Local man Craig Lutton, a member of the London Northern Ireland Supporters’ Club, celebrated the boys in green’s qualification for Euro 2016 with his fellow ‘exiles’ in the English capital.

Craig and the other members of the London-based Green and White Army’ led a parade of the club through London from their traditional meeting place of Philomena’s in Covent Garden to Trafalgar Square.

Craig - and his trademark bass drum - is now on his way to Finland for what is sure to be a weekend-long party around Michael O’Neill’s side’s final qualifying game.
