Home draw for Homers in Irish Junior Cup quarter-final

Harryville Homers.

Harryville Homers.

HARRYVILLE Homers’ hopes of winning the Coca-Cola Irish Junior Cup - the Blue Riband competition for junior football teams in Northern Ireland - have been handed a boost.

Homers have been given a home draw in the quarter-finals of the competition, which traditionally attracts hundreds of entries from clubs throughout the Province.

However, they still do not know their opponents as they await the outcome of the fourth round tie between Woodvale and Windmill Stars.

However, the quarter-final fixture has already been selected by the organisers as the tie of the round.

The game will be played at Wakehurst Playing Fields on Saturday, March 3.
