A two goal salvo from Tiarnan Rafferty was enough to secure a point from NIFL Championship 2 season opener at Seahaven as Paul Muir’s regime gets off to a decent start.

The prolific former Kilrea United hit man gave Wakehurst a 1-0 lead with his first competitive goal for the club.

Portstewart levelled with a goal from a corner before taking the lead. With time running out Rafferty poked home a real poacher’s effort at the back post and seal a point from an entertaining game.
