Upon arrival at Ballymena Showgrounds the visitors were given a tour of the Stadium before looking around the changing rooms, tunnel area and pitch side area before taking part in games on the 3g pitch at the Showgrounds facility.

At the end of the day the visitors were guests of local restaurant Frankie & Bennys before making the final journey home to Merseyside.

During the trip the boys were welcomed by deputy mayor, Timothy Gaston as well as former league and current York City player Josh Carson.
