The action gets underway today in the Dale Farm Milk Cup, with a bumper line-up of games, including at the three local venues of Ballymena Showgrounds, Broughshane and Clough.

After the inclement weather on Sunday forced the postponement of the annual opening parade through Coleraine town centre, organisers will be hoping for some respite from the conditions.

Among the attractions are County Antrim’s Premier age group team - featuring Ballymena boys Matthew Shevlin, Josh Corry and Eamon Fyfe - taking on strikers at the Showgrounds, while a big crowd is also expected at the Warden Street venue for Liverpool’s meeting with County Tyrone.

Matches in the Ballymena area today (Monday) are:

SHOWGROUNDS

Premier - Co Antrim v Strikers (5.30pm); Junior - Co Tyrone v Liverpool (8pm).

BROUGHSHANE

Junior - North Dublin SL v Co Antrim (1.30pm); Premier - Club America v Co Down.

CLOUGH

Junior - Co Down v Brentford (12 noon); Premier - OC Blues v Motherwell (3.30pm).
