Milk Cup: Thursday’s games in the borough

As well as the last four of the main competitions in the Premier and Junior age groups, there are also a number of semi-finals in the various subsidiary competitions.

Ballymena Showgrounds takes a break from the action today as it prepares to host the three age group finals on Friday night.

However, there is still plenty of mouth-watering action at Broughshane and Clough, with the Cloughwater Road venue seeing County Antrim’s under-17 team - featuring Ballymena teenager Josh Corry, taking on Newcastle United.

Fixtures at the two local venues today are:

BROUGHSHANE

Junior section - Dale Farm Shield semi-final - County Londonderry v Sheffield United (12 noon).

Premier section - Dale Farm Vase semi-final - Benfica v County Londonderry (3.30pm).

CLOUGH

Junior section - Dale Farm Bowl semi-final - County Down v Japan FA Academy (1.30pm).

Premier section - Dale Farm Bowl semi-final - Newcastle United v County Antrim (5pm).
