IN the North West Youth League, Northend United U10s had to settle for a share of the points against Ballymena United in their big ‘derby’ match at the weekend.
The young Blues conceded a late goal in the match, when for most of the match it looked like they would take all the points.
Also in the North West League, the U11s lost to League leaders, Limavady United, in a spirited performance.
In the Belfast and East Antrim League, Johnny Sayers U13s turned in a great team-like performance to overcome Whitehead Eagles by a 4-0 scoreline at Dunfane, their second clean sheet in a row.
In the National league, the U14s lost to Portadown in a match where finishing was the main problem for the young Blues. An understrength U16s lost to Crusaders in the NIBFA Cup.
