The event started off with a touching round of applause to celebrate the life of local IFA Grassroots coach Wes Gregg who tragically passed away last Sunday night.

Wes was a key member of the organising committee and will be sorely missed by all the clubs, coaches and players involved in the league.

The standard of football throughout the day was of a very high standard and all the players finished the day off with a smile on their face.

Ballymena United first team player and Ballymena Invitational Mini Soccer League graduate Leroy Millar watched some of the games and present each player with a medal to take home.

The league will take a break this Saturday due to the Ballymena Show and will return on June 6 when the Primary 4 kids will get a chance to shine.
