At the close of play former league player and current Ballymena United ‘starlet,’ Stewart Nixon, did the honours by presenting all the players with participation medals.

The afternoon session saw the P7 age group in action with more 9 a side games before coming to a close at 4pm. Guest on the day was County Antrim Milk Cup player Josh Corry who had been a former mini soccer league player.

Another good season for the local league in this its 15th anniversary season and the MSL paid special thanks to all league officials and especially Sandra Christie and Michael Watterson for their tireless work. Thanks to the local youth players who officiated as referees each week, along with Photographer, Stephen Armstrong who took some action shots each week. Also worthy of mention were the staff of Ballymena Borough Council especially Barney and Declan for their assistance.
