Pupils from Michael O’Neill’s old school have been interviewing him about his days in the classroom and his experiences as manager of the Northern Ireland football team.

The students from St Louis Grammar School in Ballymena asked Michael about his playing career, his achievements and his management style among other things during an interview recorded for online BBC channel School Report.

Brothers Callum and Michael McCabe along with Conor McAuley, all Year 13 pupils, also quizzed the Northern Ireland manager about his country’s chances at the European Championship finals in France this summer.

They met Michael at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park in Belfast. They were accompanied by St Louis teachers Catherine Morgan and Adrian Quinn.

Afterwards the three students said they really enjoyed meeting the Northern Ireland boss.
