AGM date set for popular mini soccer league

The annual general meeting of the Ballymena Invitational Mini Soccer League will take place at the Countryman Inn on April 19 (7.30pm).

The popular small sided football league makes a return for its 16th season giving many boys and girls their first steps in football.

It will once again be held on the 3g pitch at Ballymena Showgrounds during the months of May/June.

The tournament will start for its 16th season at the beginning of May, 2016 held once again at the usual 3g facility at Ballymena Showgrounds.

League organisers are looking more teams to take part this year and would particularly welcome full or part female teams. Teams are categorized by their year of school starting at P2 up to and including P7.

Games will start the first Saturday with the P2 age group following on the following week with P3 and so on each week. All children will receive a medal for taking part and there will be several games each week for teams taking part.
