The action continued thick and fast in the hugely popular Ballymena Invitational Mini Soccer League competition at the weekend.

This time it was the turn of the P5 age group to take centre stage on the 3g pitch at Ballymena Showgrounds.

Teams representing Ballymena United Youth Academy, Carniny Youth and Star United were among those who took part in the competition.

Over the next couple of weeks, the P6 and P7 sections will get their chance to shine as organisers wrap up the tournament for another year, ahead of the start of the European Championships.
