Leading fit-out firm, Marcon has continued its sponsorship of the 2016 Tayto Northern Ireland Open in Partnership with Ulster Bank at Galgorm Castle from July 28-31.

‘Chipping in’ with support for one of NI’s top sporting events was an easy decision for Mark McElroy, Director at Marcon.

“We are pleased to renew our association with the NI Open as one of the event’s main sponsors,” explained Mark.

“As our business continues to grow it is wonderful to see the stature of this tournament grow as well.

“Golf has never been so popular and the NI Open is now firmly established as one of top events in the local sporting calendar.”

As one of the UK and Ireland’s leading fit-out specialists, Marcon operates in a wide range of sectors such as hospitality, retail, commercial and museum/heritage.

At the NI Open Marcon will utilise the skills of their craftsmen to form many of the display structures on Galgorm Castle estate and in particular within the NI Open Village, corporate hospitality and grandstand areas.

Welcoming Marcon on board, Ross Oliver, Event Manager of the NI Open said, “We are delighted to have Marcon on board again in 2016, it is fantastic to have sustained support from such a successful local company.”

The NI Open had an all-time attendance record set last year at 39,423 spectators.
