First Ahoghill’s hopes of retaining the Ballymena & District Churches League title were given a helping hand by two of their title rivals last week.

A clear-cut victory in the meeting between St Patrick’s and Cloughwater could have seen the victors put pressure on pacesetters Ahoghill. It was a close game with Cloughwater claiming a four shot win.
