Cup finals down for decision on Friday

The Ballymena, Harryville and District Darts League will resume this Friday night with the conclusion of the Pictorium, Loyalist and respective Duffers finals to be held in the Coach Bar.

All outstanding matches have now been completed, the results are as follows.

Best individual performance was a 17-dart leg from John Elder, followed by: 18 John Greer, 20 Daniel McDonald, 21s A Johnson, Evan Greer, John Elder, Danny Balmer.

Chris Greer (Spinning Mill Bulls) had the best finish with a 118 checkout, followed by a 110 from Rab Lynn (Slemish Tavern).

Evan Greer (Spinning Mill Bulls) was the only player to hit a 180.

DIVISION ONE

Staffers 5, Clough Rangers 3: At 3-3 the match could have gone either way. Well done Staffers, finishing the first half with a victory. Clough Rangers gained 3 points thanks to wins from M Gage (2-0), T McKnight (2-0) and A Johnson (2-1). Staffers winners were Jerry Christie (2-1), Paul Barr (2-1), Stevie Hamer (2-1), Geordie Aiken (2-0) and Rodney Thompson (2-0). Star player - Paul Barr.

DIVISION TWO

Slemish Tavern 1, Spinning Mill 7: Spinning Mill must now be favourites for the league; Slemish took the first game thanks to Rab Lynn (2-1) but the Bulls romped to victory to put one hand on the trophy. They claimed their points courtesy of wins from Evan Greer (2-1), Peter Stewart (2-0), John Greer (2-0), John Elder (2-0), Chris Greer (2-0), Stewart Daniel McDonald (2-0) and Danny Balmer (2-0). Star player - John Elder.
