First Broughshane claim first spot in Nelson Cup final

First Broughshane will discover their Nelson Cup final opponents this week as the Ballymena & District CHurches Bowling League reaches its final stages.

First Ahoghill and Killymurris Glarryford contest the second semi-final this Thursday evening, March 10, at Cuningham Memorial church hall, with the winners facing First Broughshane, who saw off Killymurris Carnlea in a one-sided first semi-final last week.

Meanwhile, Buckna have staged a late run to haul themselves into league title contention but it remains an unlikly ask for them to overhaul First Ahoghill, who have led from virtually the opening week of the campaign.
