Killymurris Glarryford continued their remarkable domination of the Ballymena & District Churches League Nelson Cup last week.

The Glarryford side won the knockout event for the sixth time in seven years by beating First Broughshane by 64 shots to 33 in the final, held in Second Broughshane church hall.

Aside from Killymurris, the biggest winners were of course the league’s chosen charities - Muckamore Abbey and the George Sloan Centre - who were each presented with a cheque for £600. A collection taken up on the night among the large crowd of spectators also raised £326.
