Mid Antrim Men’s zone team make the trip to Enniskillen this Saturday, January 9, to play Western Zone in the second round of the Plate Competition.
The selectors have had to make one change to the team which defeated Cork in the previous round due to the unavailability of the experienced Neil Booth (Old Bleach).
Thomas McMaster (1st Ahoghill) comes into the team to lead on Andrew Duncan’s rink in the process making his zone debut.
Otherwise the selectors have kept faith with the team which travelled to Cork.
Western, last seasons Boomer Cup runners up, find themselves in the plate due to their first round defeat by reigning champions Oriel and they are a team notoriously difficult to beat in their Lakeland home.
The Mid-Antrim squad is:
Rink 1: A McCombe (1st Ahoghill), G Lithco (Muckamore CC), D McCullough (Michelin), W Caldwell (Michelin).
Rink 2: S Alexander (Buckna), D Turtle (BPFA), I Craig (BPFA), A Cahoon (BPFA).
Rink 3: A Graham (1st Ahoghill), A Bonnar (Glenwherry), A McCullough (Buckna), A Morrison (1st Ahoghill).
Rink 4: T McMaster (1st Ahoghill), R Rodgers (BPFA), D Duncan (2nd Donegore), A Duncan (2nd Donegore).

Reserves: J Gaston (1st Broughshane) T Lithco (Michelin) P Millar (Buckna) T Morrison (1st Ahoghill) C Scott (1st Antrim).
