Another star cricketer has rolled off the production line at Parkhall Integrated College.
Previously a very talented boxer, Bradley Hodge looked elsewhere for a fun sport, trying both football and rugby.
However, it wasn’t until his dad took him down to Muckamore Cricket Club that he found his next sport and he fell in love with the game.
Bradley excels at bowling and is also pretty handy with the bat. His best stats include four wickets for 35 runs and batting scores of 35 and 38 retired.
“One of my best achievements in cricket was being selected to captain the U13 Parkhall team,” says Bradley.
Bradley was put forward on three occasions by Muckamore to be selected for the NCU (Northern Cricket Union) development squad, successfully securing a position in the under-13 panel in December.
Bradley would like to pay special thanks to his dad, Gavin, head coach of Muckamore, Uel Graham, Mr Martin and all the coaches at Parkhall Integrated College for their efforts in making him a better cricketer.
Bradley is the fourth Parkhall pupil to make the NCU squad, after Neil Gill, Jason Van Der Merwe and Craig Drummond.
