Ballymena Rugby Club’s Junior Teams have received a welcome boost from a sponsorship announcement from Kilrea based firm, Hutchinson Engineering.

The junior teams which include the winners of the Ulster Carpets U16 League Section 2 are delighted with the continued support from Northern Ireland’s leading engineering firm, Hutchinson Engineering; that has signed a sponsorship deal for another three years.

Ballymena Rugby Football Club Chairman, Derek Montgomery said: “I’m delighted that Hutchinson Engineering is supporting our local rugby community.

“The sponsorship funds will be used exclusively to benefit the Ballymena Youth Section and will go towards their new kit and travel costs.

“Their ongoing support of the Youth Section is essential and we are only too happy to have them on board for another three years.”

Managing Director, Mark Hutchinson commented: “We are keen rugby fans and what better way to support grassroots sport by giving to this fantastic and ambitious youth rugby section.

This sponsorship will allow the Ballymena Rugby Club and their Youth Convener, Don Pattison, to nurture the young talent and ensure that all their rugby needs are met.

Mark Hutchinson concluded: “We have established a great relationship with Ballymena Rugby Football Club and I look forward to watching the Youth Section throughout the next few years and perhaps get a glimpse of some of the rugby stars of the future.”
