FIT N Running’s junior athlete Connor McQuillan continued his running education with another impressive performance against top quality opposition from England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.

Connor was in action in the under 15 race at the recent IAAF international cross country event staged on the grounds of Greenmount College in Antrim.

The Ballymena schoolboy who has been in the sport less than a year claimed a fantastic 10th place finishing in 13mins 28 secs.

MOIRA CROSS COUNTRY

Husband and wife duo James and Paula Wallace continued to winter well on Saturday afternoon at the Moira Cross Country event.

On a mudbath of a course Paula claimed a fine 10th place in the Female open whilst James secured 16th place in the male open.

The couple’s gifted 11year old daughter Rebecca took top honours in the junior race with a determined display to add yet another race victory to her already impressive CV.
