JOHN Elder signed off in style in the final round of Ballymena, Harryville & District Darts League matches of 2012 on Friday night.

The former international player hit a 13-dart legs as his Drifters side plough on towards yet another league title with their latest win coming at Ladysmith’s expense.

Other notable legs came from: 14 - Geoff Wylie, 15 - Daniel Thompson, 16 - Alwyn McCosh, Billy McDowell, 17 - Andy Martin, Junior Cushenan, 18 - Mike Stubbs, John Elder, Geoff Wylie, 19 - Steven Hamer, Leon McDowell, 20 - Alan Service, Geoffrey Matthews, Darnell McCrory, Gabriel Kerr, 21 - Billy McDowell, Davy McFall, Rodney Cubitt, John Robinson, David McFall.

Jane Lowry (Ladysmith Arrows) had the week’s best finish with a 100 checkout.

Davy McFall, Geoffrey Matthews (Drifters), Junior Cushenan (Ladysmith Arrows) and Clifford Marcus (Michelin) all hit 180s.

The Social club is holding its Turkey Shoot - Out Darts Competition on Fri 21st contact Social club for more information

There will be a darts competition on Sat 22nd December in aid of the Hope Centre. This will take place in the Ladysmith Arms, registration 12 noon £5 entry, all welcome.
