Social Hockey continues at Randalstown

Randalstown Social Hockey continues for the remainder of the summer months for anyone over 16. It’s at Antrim Forum every Thursday night from 8-9pm.

It’s pay as you play costing £3 per session. Sports Development Coach Harry McNeill organises a few light drills to warm up the group and teach the fundamentals of hockey.

This is followed by an informal match. The Social Hockey is open to all abilities and all ages – especially for those who haven’t played hockey before or those who haven’t played it for a while.

Please come along and give it a try, you will be made most welcome and had a good laugh and make some new friends.

Summer Hockey Camp

Randalstown Hockey Club held their annual Summer Hockey Camp last week at Antrim Forum. Despite the poor weather conditions, there was a huge turnout, with just over 50 boy and girls between the ages of 5-15 taking part. The event proved to be very enjoyable for all involved.

U11 girls - Fridays 5-6pm, starting Friday, September 18. U13/15 girls Mondays 6-7pm, starting Monday, August 31. Over 15s Mondays 7-8pm, starting Monday, August 24.

Preseason Training

Randalstown Hockey Club preseason training has started. Monday evening sessions will be held at Antrim Castle Gardens, meeting in the carpark beside Clotworthy House at 7pm. Wednesday night sessions will be held at Woodburn Dam meeting at 7.30pm.

All new and existing members aged 15 and over are encouraged to attend.
