They welcomed their friends from Ballycastle United, Ballymoney United, Barn United, Carrick Rangers, Barn United and Wellington Rec to the Showgrounds.

Played in a true spirit, it was an enjoyable morning’s football for players, parents and coaches alike. There was great skill on show, with goals, defending, goal keeping and fantastic work rate from the young players.

The U10s would like to thank referees Johnny Sayers, Brian McCluney and Joe Kidd for their expert handling of the matches.

A large turnout of players, from all ages, assembled last Monday night for 1st night of pre-season training at the Ballymena Showgrounds. The Club were honoured when Austin Speight, Coerver Coaching’s Director of Football in Ireland, took the opening night training sessions for the ambitious Wakehurst Academy Club.

This was part of the continuous working relationship built up between Northend United and Coerver Coaching and dating back three years when Northend were the first Club in Ballymena to enlist the services of the progressive Coaching agency.
