THIS week's Tracks of My Years has been written by Ashlene McCurry. Ashlene is a nurse working in Northern Ireland Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hospital.
Ashlene explains: "When my boyfriend Stephen, who works for the Ballymena Times, asked me to contribute to this feature I thought it would be a very simple task. However that was before Christmas and it is only now I handed him my finished masterpiece!

"I found it very hard to narrow it down to only 10 tracks. I love most types of music and have an extensive variety of music in my collection.

"These may not be my top 10 favourite songs of all time but they are the ones that mean the most to me."

My Top 10

1. Feels Like Home - Chantal Kreviazuk - I heard this song for the first time on the soundtrack of the film How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days. It is ironic that I became familiar with it when I started dating Stephen as the lyrics in this song sum up my whole relationship with him. It is very special to me for this reason.

2. If Tomorrow Never Comes - Garth Brooks - This has to be one of the best songs Garth Brooks ever released. I believe it is really important in life to tell people how you feel. I also have a very strong belief in never going to bed on an argument and the lyrics in this song tell us why that is so important.

3. I've Had The Time of My Life - Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes - Well, I had to have a Dirty Dancing song in here somewhere - after all what girl hasn't wanted to be Baby at some point in her life! Love this song as it makes me think of the best times in my life and the people I have to thank for making them happen.

4. I'm On My Way - The Proclaimers - This song always makes me smile. When I was travelling with a friend through Asia, Australia and New Zealand last year we had this as our theme tune. Travelling these countries has been a lifelong ambition and every time I hear this song it makes me thankful for the opportunity I had to achieve this.

5. It's My Life - Bon Jovi - I really believe in living each day as if it was the last, enjoying life to the max. and this song really highlights that. There is also a small part of me where there is a rock chick itching to get out. It's a great song and always gets me on the dance floor!

6. Mr Jones - Counting Crows - Love the music in this song and think it is a great one to sing along to while driving in the car when no one can hear you! Another good one for the dance floor!

7. Don't Stop Me Now - Queen - I see myself as someone who is always up for a laugh, give anything a go once (within reason!) and as the lyrics say 'having a good time'. Think this song sums up the person I am (most of the time!)

8. Forever and Ever, Amen - Randy Travis - I love all the new country stuff and this is just a good old-fashioned song with good old-fashioned meaning and I like that. It reminds me of my parents and everything they share.

9. Take Me Home Country Roads - John Denver - This ended up in my Top 10 tracks as it always reminds me of home especially when I was away travelling. I think this song is a good reminder for all of us that no matter what you accomplish in life or where you go, it is important to remember your roots and the people that made it possible for you to get where you are.

10. Somebody Like You - Keith Urban - Really got to love Keith Urban's music this past few years. This is one of my favourite songs and I always listened to it thinking how nice it would be to dedicate it to someone special and now I can!
