Death of ex-manager
UNITED officials and supporters were saddened to learn of the recent death of ex Sky Blues player/manager Alex Parker, at the age of 74.
The former Everton and Scotland full-back spent just over a year at Warden Street between 1968 and 1969 before moving on and taking a similar role at Republic of Ireland club Drumcondra.
Cush extends contract
DAVID Cushley has signed an extension to his contract that will keep him at Ballymena United until the end of the current season.
The winger's contract expired last week and he was reported to be a target for several clubs.
