Director of the Irish Game Fair & Fine Food Festival Albert Titterington says he’s very excited at the prospect of such an amazing opportunity to highlight this major Antrim-based event on an international stage and to create a dynamic focus on the Council’s new tourism strategy.

Mr. Titterington said: “There is no doubt that there is a huge fanbase for someone like ‘Van the Man’, or an international event like the Circuit of Ireland Rally and we are simply delighted to be classed alongside such illustrious company.

“But a vote for the Irish Game Fair & Fine Food Festival puts out the clear message that everyone in Antrim feels it’s simply “In Our Nature” to offer tourists such a magical experience.

“Where better could the thousands drawn to the area by this event see such a shining showcase for Antrim’s outdoor attractions and historic buildings, and local produce including the renowned Lough Neagh eels, than the Irish Game Fair, set alongside the mysterious Shanes Castle on the shores of Lough Neagh.
