1st Ballymena’s inauguralFair could be first of many

First Ballymena Presbyterian Church will hold their first Antiques, Collectables and Crafts Fair in their church halls at Meetinghouse Lane on Saturday, November 2.

Exhibitors and dealers from across the province are expected to attend the event which will run from 11am-5pm.

Renowned local artist Nigel Allison from Kells and Liam Rodgers from Irish Art Plus will have some stunning paintings on display and for sale on the day.

Both church halls will in use and providing venues where visitors will find plenty of stalls and exhibits to peruse.

The Main Hall will feature 20 stands selling antiques, collectables, fine porcelain and china, antique jewellery, oil lamps, linen, small furniture and fine Irish art.

The Minor Hall will be home to 12 craft stands welling a wide range of beautiful items handmade by local craftspeople.

Tea, coffee, sandwiches and homebakes will also be on sale at reasonable prices in the Minor Hall.

A church spokesperson said: “This is a Fair not to be missed. It is an ideal opportunity to do a spot of Christmas shopping and join us for a tea or coffee.

“It is hoped that we can make this an annual event on our church calendar. Please come along and bring your friends and family and help to make this event a huge success.”

Admission is £2 for adults, while accompanied children go free, and all proceeds will go towards First Ballymena Church community events.
