A glimpse at ‘Gardens of the future’
Gardens of the future was the topic at the February meeting of Ballymena Garden Club.
Claire Woods, Senior Lecturer in Horticulture at the Greenmount Campus of CAFRE highlighted developments in display gardens and took members on a cyber ‘world tour’ from roof gardens in New York to the highly manicured public gardens in Singapore and Dubai.
The next Club meeting will be on Monday 3 March at 7.30 pm in Houston’s Mill, Broughshane, when George and Sandra Wilson will talk about their world tour with a focus on flowers.
George and Sandra are well known as daffodil exhibitors at Spring Flower Shows throughout the province.
New members are always made very welcome.
