Bugles, pipes and drums in Royal concert

ABF The Soldiers' Charity is to host a North Antrim celebration for HM The Queen's 90th Birthday later this month.

A concert, to be performed by the Band, Bugles, Pipes & Drums of the Royal Irish Regiment will take place at Ballymoney Town Hall, on Saturday, March 26. Pictured above is Ballymena’s Linda McCaig with her ticket for the occasion!

Charity Director, David Forsey said: “It is fitting that we hold a tribute to her Majesty for such a significant milestone and we would love people from Ballymena to join us for the occasion.”

The programme of music will feature a number of well known tunes and Is to include musical items which are said to be favourites of The Queen.

The concert will commence at 7.45pm at the Town Hall.

Tickets can be obtained from the Visitor Centre on 02827 660230 or by calling in at the Ballymoney RBL Club.

All proceeds will go to soldiers, veterans and families in times of hardship.
