Celtic Airs & Graces at Old Courthouse

ONE of Ireland’s most famous harpists, Cormac de Barra, has teamed up with renowned international flautist and composer Karin Leitner for an evening of Classical Irish music at its best.

Featuring a selection of Irish Airs, haunting celtic melodies, lively jigs and reels, as well as classical gems and virtuoso pieces, Celtic Airs and Graces is the latest in a succession of concert programmes devised by Cormac and Karin that have brought to light many beautiful, famous and unknown, Irish Classical pieces from such composers as Turlough O’Carolan.

With a warmth and charm that delights and brings out the joy of this wonderful music, Cormac and Karin use their wit and virtuosity to entertain and transport the listener to a place where the soul can fly high and be inspired.
