Country show comes to town

FOLLOWING the success of previous tours, the Queens of Country music are sure to provide a spectular array of the finest Country music to date when the take to the road in March.

Billie Jo Spears, Philomena Begley, Stella Parton, Georgette Jones and Leona Williams will take to the stage at Tullyglass House Hotel on March 2, as part of the Queens of Country tour.

Billie Joe Spears, has been performing since the 70s after making a debut at the age of just 13.

The Queen of Country Music, Philomena Begley, has been on the music scene for 45 years and is still as popular as ever. Born in Pomeroy, County Tyrone, Philomena has recorded 25 albums and numerous singles such as Queen of the Silver Dollar.

With an authentic and unadulterated yet dynamic and compelling voice, Stella Parton will capture the audience.

Sister of Dolly Parton she is no stranger to the industry, singing and performing from an early age and with her new CD Testimony, Stella performs everything from country to pop to rock with an inspiring quality that only she could conceive.

Leona Williams was destined to become a country music entertainer. She landed her first radio show at the age of 15 and this was the beginning of a lifetime of entertaining people.

A huge success earlier this year at UTV Country fest, Georgette Jones is back for a tour. Daughter of the famous George Jones and Tammy Wynette and better known as the Princess of Country, Georgette completes this great line up and a showcase of talent with a total nine dates across Ireland this is a show not to be missed.

Joining the Queens of Country on tour will be the new voice of country music, Nathan Carter.
