Details of Ford Fair 2016 released

Hundreds of car enthusiasts from the Ballymena and Antrim areas are getting all revved up for the annual Causeway Coast Ford Fair.

TrustFord is once again sponsoring the annual Causeway Coast Ford Fair, which is taking place at the Dunluce Centre, Portrush, on Sunday, June 5.

Now in its 12th year, the event is expected to welcome over 10,000 motoring enthusiasts and spectators from across the UK, all of whom will be helping to raise valuable funding for Cancer Research UK.

The Ford Fair has fast become a highlight in every motor enthusiast’s calendar and is organised in conjunction with the Capri Club NI, RS Owners Club and the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.

This year the event will feature over 400 sport, modern and vintage Ford vehicles, including a wide selection of Fiestas to mark its 40th anniversary.

The event isn’t limited to motoring enthusiasts; as well as the vehicles on show, the Ford Fair has plenty of fun in store for the whole family, with a range of children’s entertainment provided for younger visitors, including bouncy castles and face painting.

Dermot Rafferty, TrustFord Northern Ireland General Manager: “Each year the event just gets bigger and bigger, with more and more people joining in on the fun. The success we’ve seen over the last decade is thanks to the combined hard work and effort of a big team committed to making the Ford Fair the best event possible. Whether it’s the vehicles on display, the entertainment, or simply the fun and games, there really is something for everyone.”
