Ghostly goings-on at The Old Courthouse

THE Old Courthouse Antrim is again proud to showcase the very best in theatre on Thursday, May 26 at 7.30pm when London Classic Theatre Company presents a new version of Henrik Ibsen’s classic play, Ghosts.

This latest adaptation is by renowned playwright Frank McGuinness, and follows hot on the heels of After Miss Julie which this highly respected theatre company brought to The Old Courthouse earlier this year.

Helene Alving is preparing for the opening of an orphanage built in memory of her late husband. Her beloved son Oswald has returned from Paris for the occasion, but his long-awaited homecoming rapidly descends into tragedy as his presence triggers the exposure of a dark story of hypocrisy and betrayed love.
