Lionel Richie show rescheduled

LIONEL Richie has had to reschedule his Belfast and Dublin shows due to illness.

The singer was due to perform and the Odyssey Arena tonight (Wednesday), September 26.

A new date has been rescheduled for the Belfast show on December 11. The Dublin show has been rescheduled to December 10.

A spokesperson for the singer said: “Lionel is extremely disappointed that he has had to reschedule his Irish appearances at The O2 in Dublin & Odyssey Arena in Belfast.

“He always receives the warmest of welcomes in Ireland and that was why he had wanted to start his tour here - he is very much looking forward to getting back later in the year to perform in Dublin & Belfast.”

Tickets Holders are asked to retain their tickets for the new dates.
