Medieval Family Fun at The Braid

Mid-Antrim Museum has organised a family fun day on a medieval theme.

It is being held on Saturday, November 16, to celebrate their fabulous exhibition to celebrate their exhibition, Treasures of the Middle Ages: Archaeological Finds from Poland.

Those who go along to the Museum Atrium on that date between 2-4pm will get an opportunity to find buried treasure in an archaeological dig pit, learn how to make jewellery and take part in a Polish paper cutting workshop.

There will also be the opportunity to watch glass making demonstrations and take part in a treasure hunt.

And admission to this afternoon of fun for all the family is free.

Meanwhile, the exhibition of stunning medieval treasures from Poland continues until January 6, 2014.

Admission to the exhibition is also free of charge.
