Laugh it up with Neil Dougan at The Braid

Comedian Neil Dougan will be bringing his new show, Heretics and Head the Balls, to The Braid in Ballymena on Saturday September 3.

UK comedy circuit stalwart Neil Dougan attempts to compress over five hundred years of protestant culture into his new one man show. Packed with tales of ‘head the balls and heretics’, his subjects range from revolutionary reformists to bonfire builders. The Four Musketeers, a tribe of Native American Orangemen, The Scots Irish, 17th Century Calvinist orgies in Essex; Saint Patrick, and even Rasputin gets a mention.

Neil Dougan is one of the strongest established acts on the comedy circuit today.

After starting out at The Empire Comedy Club Neil became the regular compeer at The Laughterlounge in Belfast.

The show is strictly for over sixteens as it may contain strong language and themes of an adult nature.

‘Heretics and Head the Balls’ kicks off at 8pm. Tickets, priced £10, are on sale from the Box Office on 028 25635 077 or online at www.thebraid.com.
