Warm up for Euro 2012 at Ballyloughan!

BALLYLOUGHAN Church is organising a Euro 2012 men’s 5-a-side football tournament, to take place on Thursday, June 7, at Dunclug College football pitch, beginning at 7pm.

This will be the third such tournament that Ballyloughan has organised, building on the popularity and success of previous competitions.

The tournament takes place on the eve of Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine and begins with an open draw where every team is given the name of one of the Euro 2012 teams.

Following an initial group stage, the tournament will then proceed to the knock-out stages.

Each participant will also receive a special guide to Euro 2012 including a match schedule and the stories of international players for whom their obsession with football is second to their obsession with Jesus Christ.

Participation in the tournament is for those aged 18 or over. Should you wish to enter a team, contact Ballyloughan Church office (2564 8502) before Monday, June 4, to ensure a place.
