Roadworks at Pentagon will be at night

ROADWORKS due to get underway on Monday, September 5, at the Pentagon should cause minimal traffic disruption in the area as the labour will take place outside main working hours, according to DRD Roads Service.

Speaking to the Ballymena Times about the scheme, which is planned for the junction of Galgorm Road and North Road, a DRD spokesperson said: “The work will be carried out during the night (approximately 7pm to 7am) to minimise disruption to traffic and pedestrians.

“The scheme is aimed at improving facilities for pedestrians and also restoring the left turn green arrow arrangement from Galgorm Road into North Road. This work is expected to be completed before the end of September.”
