Jordan’s really got talent!

DUNCLUG College head boy, Jordan McKane has been successful in a UK wide competition seeking young people of talent, creativity and originality.

Jordan is now Grade 8 on piano and honing his skills in teaching and supporting other musicians.

The competition, known as ‘The Next Brit Thing’ is open to all students in the UK in the 12-19 age range.

A panel of experts has been listening to the applicants and a short listed group has been invited to perform in front of a panel of judge at the Regional Finals in Belfast in February

Jordan has performed some of his own unique compositions, a growing and very impressive repertoire which Jordan often shares both on stage and informally in his school and other local venues. He is just one step away from the National Finals in London, the grand prize being to perform in the Royal Hall and the school wish him every success.
