£1000 for NI Children’s Hospice

The generous pupils and staff of St. Brigid’s P.S., Ballymena have raised a tremendous £1000 for the N.I. Children’s Hospice. The school selects a particular Charity each year to devote their fundraising efforts towards and this year the Children’s Hospice is the beneficiary. School Principal, Mr. Jim Brady said: “There isn’t a family in the community who hasn’t been touched by the effects of cancer at some time or another and it is particularly poignant when a child is involved. As a school we recognise the support an organisation like the hospice can provide for the young person and the wider family circle and we are delighted to be in a position to support their work.”
