Some 93.3% of all entries were awarded A*-B grades. In addition, 65 students attained eight A*/A grades or more.

Each Year-12 student enjoyed their own success story on results day, not least the top achievers.

Lucy Donaldson, Ceothan Gormley and Cara Pirie each achieved 10 A* grades.

Principal, Mr Rafferty, said: “I would like to congratulate our Year-12 students and their teachers for their hard work over the last five years which has culminated in this fantastic performance at GCSE Level.

“We are particularly proud of the way our Year-12 students have coped under such challenging circumstances over the last few months.

“Credit must also be given to their families for their unwavering support and encouragement.

“We look forward to welcoming the vast majority of this cohort back to St Louis to begin studying for their A Levels but regardless of the pathway they choose, these results will open doors to the careers and the futures our students aspire to.”
