Mayor congratulates Mark Allen on becoming new Champion of Champions
Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey has praised the achievements of former Masters Champion and local sporting hero, Mark Allen who claimed a 10-6 win over defending champion Neil Robertson in the Champion of Champions final in Milton Keynes at the weekend.

Commenting on his success, the Mayor, Councillor Jim Montgomery said; “On behalf of the citizens of our borough, I want to congratulate Mark on becoming the 2020 Champion of Champions. To beat the World number 1,2 and 3 is an outstanding achievement and we are extremely proud that Mark has once again put our country and our borough on the world stage.”
