One of Ballymena’s best known town centre shops and a leading local ‘independent’ outlet, The Giftbox at Wellington Gifts is delighted to offer its clientele a truly modern shopping experience coupled with outstanding choice and value, supported by traditional customer service.

The shop, which is situated at 14–16 Church Street, is renowned in the borough and wider province for its huge range of gifts and collectables by such famous names as Royal Doulton, Border Fine Arts, Belleek Living, Royal Crown Derby and Moorcroft.

And, as well as the traditional favourites, fresh new gift ideas are regularly being added to The Giftbox mix.

The business is owned and run by William and Joan Alexander and their son Gareth. The Alexanders took over Wellington Gifts from the Suitters family back in 1995 and have added to it the popular @Art & Framing’ business which is now located on the first floor of the gift shop.

As well as larger gift items such as clocks and mirrors, you’ll be able to view and buy the stunning works of various local and English Artists.

From Eoin O’Connor, L.S.Lowry and Sam McLarnon prints to originals by Stephen Park, Wendy Reeves, John Haskins, JP Rooney and Nigel Allison, you’ll be able to mingle with all those famous names and more at ‘The Gallery’ within Wellington Gifts.

The store downstairs includes a cookware, bakeware and household department which features such big names as Stellar, Circulon, Delonghi and in tableware Denby, Belleek, Emma Bridgewater, Katie Alice and Vera Wang, to name but a few.

With so many exciting gift ideas to choose from, it’s hardly surprising that Wedding Lists are a big speciality of The Giftbox at Wellington Gifts.

William Alexander remarked: “ We aim to give our customers a pleasant and modern style of shopping in a store that prides itself on good value, quality and service”

“It also reflects that, in spite of recent negative publicity about the town centre, we are confident that Church Street is still one of the best high streets in the North and that it offers a retail mix second to none.”

The Giftbox at Wellington Gifts is open Monday to Saturday from 9am – 5.30pm.
