Acclaimed Friel play tours to Ballymena

A rarely performed masterpiece is how critics have described Brian Friel’s poetic play, Molly Sweeney which comes to the The Braid Arts Centre, Ballymena for one night only in March.

The critically acclaimed co-production from the Lyric Theatre, Belfast and Print Room, London stars three well-known local actors and is being held on March 18. Co Tyrone actress Dorothy Duffy, best known for her role in the heart-wrenching film The Magdalene Sisters stars alongside former Downton Abbey actor Ruairi Conaghan (The Crucible) from Magherafelt and Frankie McCafferty (Philomena) who is originally from Donegal.
