Beth scoops top industry award

Sales and Marketing Manager Beth Swindlehurst, has been hailed Business Development Manager of the Year 2010 at the local Janus Awards, the Oscars of the hospitality industry which highlight and promote excellence and professionalism in Northern Ireland.

Beth acts as head of the team which manages all of Galgorm’s sales and marketing activities and was selected from a short list of Northern Ireland’s top managers for her enthusiasm, innovative attitude and strong work ethic.

Speaking of her win Beth said: “I am delighted to receive this award for myself and on behalf of Galgorm Resort & Spa. To be recognised by my peers in the hospitality industry is personally very gratifying but it also reflects the real passion for excellence demonstrated by the entire team at the Hotel.”

Paul Smyth, Galgorm Resort & Spa’s General Manager was justifiably proud of Beth’s triumph.

“Since Beth joined us in 2007, she has made a significant and tangible contribution to the commercial success of the Hotel,” Paul said.

He added: “She is a real team player and I know that all of her colleagues are proud of this public recognition of her dedication and professionalism.”
